In south London, England, an old house was expanded and remodeled according to the Segal method (a modular wooden structure system that is easy to build and dismantle), with one floor being changed to two.
According to the owner’s request, this renovation added a dedicated study space. The kitchen becomes wide, created a study space, and improved the house and garden connection.
All by adding double-height wood extensions on the single-story house’s sides increases the sense of space in the single-story place.
