The interior design of the 1930s inspired the project. The owner, Vladlin, was a supporter of the Bauhaus school, modernism, and the Russian Constructivist movement. Before the start of the design, Vladlin traveled to Germany. The former residence of Schmick, designed by Hans Schalön, left a deep impression on him. The office carefully studied these photos to convey the space’s integration and spirit during that period.
